With 21 minutes to go in Tuesday night's game, the surprising Ottawa Senators led the Boston Bruins 3-1, and they looked well on their way to starting off the back half of the season with an impressive and dominant win over one of the league's best teams.

But then Milan Lucic cut the lead in half only 45 seconds before the end of the second period, and you began to get that nervous feeling. The Bruins are 6-8-1 when trailing after two, good for a .400 win percentage. The next closest team? The Nashville Predators, with a win percentage of .278 when trailing after two. Basically, give the Bruins an inch in the third period, and they'll take a mile.

So when Brad Marchand tied the game up only two minutes out of the second intermission, Craig Anderson simply ceded the mile. That's about how far out Dennis Seidenberg was on the game-winner:

I'm gonna go out on a limb and suggest that Craig Anderson could use a hug right about now.

In case it wasn't clear that a lot of things have gone the Boston Bruins' way this season: Dennis Seidenberg capped off a two-goal comeback with a slapshot from center ice.

Take heart, Ryan Miller. The Bruins can embarrass goaltenders from as far as 90 feet away.
