Hockey prodigy Oliver Wahlstrom strikes again with incredible lacrosse goal in Boston (Video)

Remember Oliver Wahlstrom? In 2009, the then-9-year-old hockey prodigy scored a spin-o-rama lacrosse-style goal in the TD Bank Mini 1-on-1 tournament that landed him everywhere from SportsCenter to CBS' "The Early Show."

On Tuesday night, between periods of the Boston Bruins' game against the Ottawa Senators, Wahlstrom represented the Portland (ME) Junior Pirates in the finals of the 2012 Mini 1-on-1 boys 10-and-under bracket — and he scored another instant classic:

Wahlstrom picked up the puck behind him, brought it through his legs and lifted it onto his blade, and then went in and scored lacrosse-style. Kudos to the netminder for making a valiant effort to not become a prop in a YouTube video. Alas, it fell short.

How long has this goal been in the works? It's a variation of a move he's planned since 2009, as his father — Joakim Wahlstrom, a former pro hockey player in Sweden — told the Boston Globe in an Oct. 2009 article:

According to his dad, Oliver has an even trickier shot, one that begins with him reaching his stick backward through his legs first to pull the puck forward, followed by the knee drop, the stick flat to the ice, scoop, twirl, and shoot. He hasn't come up with a name for that one.

Whatever sound a jaw makes when it hits the floor. Call it that.
