Back by popular demand, here are your Puck Previews: Spotlighting the key games in NHL action, news and views as well as general frivolity. Make sure to stop back here for the nightly Three Stars when the games are finished.

The Louis Vuitton goalie mask: The moment when Sean Avery cursed himself for never attending that Rick St. Croix school as a young player. For the sake of player safety, be wary of cheaply priced knockoff Louis Vuitton goalie masks sold on street corners in Manhattan. [Break, via DListed, via @MMiotts)

Preview: Boston Bruins at Washington Capitals, 7 p.m. ET. The Bruins continue their DC adventures. Nathan Horton will miss his first game of the season with a "mild" concussion. As JP pointed out, the Capitals will be without Alex Ovechkin (suspended) and Nicklas Backstrom (injured) for the first time in 2,184 days.

Preview: Philadelphia Flyers at Florida Panthers, 7 p.m. ET. Philly is missing Briere, JVR and Jagr, but they've won three straight games in Sunrise. Scott Clemmensen, sensational in his last start, gets the nod for Florida.

Preview: Pittsburgh Penguins at St. Louis Blues, 8 p.m. ET. Game of the night material right here, as the Blues try and bounce back from the humbling loss at Detroit. Ken Hitchcock on Evgeni Malkin: "The biggest difference now is just that he shoots it from everywhere. I think he follows it in, finds it, shoots it, finds it, shoots it, finds it. At the end of the day, you've got big players shooting the pucks and then getting it back all the time. Even on the power play. He's just loading it up, firing it."

Preview: Nashville Predators at Chicago Blackhawks, 8:30 p.m. ET. The Central Division rivals renew pleasantries after a Preds' win over the weekend. Dave Bolland moves in for the injured Jonathan Toews on the top line with Patrick Kane and Viktor Stalberg. Said Barry Trotz: "We have to have a goal, our goal is to try to catch Chicago."

Preview: Anaheim Ducks at Dallas Stars, 8:30 p.m. The Stars get Mike Ribeiro back from injury, and he'll center Loui Eriksson and Michael Ryder. The Ducks, 11 points out in the West, are trying to extend their 8-0-1 run.

Preview: Ottawa Senators at Phoenix Coyotes, 9 p.m. ET. Finally … Kyle Turris … HAS COME BACK TO GLENDALE. Well, it really hasn't been that long actually, but dude's tearing it up with the Sens to the tune of 13 points in 18 games. Five For Howling: "After proving that he had no heart or passion to play during his time in the desert, the departed Kyle Turris has a perfect opportunity to stick it to his old team. But if the player we all watched struggle to emerge shows up tonight, or should I say fails to show up, a quiet night on the stat sheet should be in order."
