The San Jose Sharks embarrassed the Tampa Bay Lightning on Wednesday night, defeating their Eastern Conference guests by a 7-2 count.
Perhaps the lowest moment for Guy Boucher's boys: This squirm-tastic play, as Marc-Andre Bergeron makes a desperation clearing attempt on a puck that bounced past Dwayne Roloson … clearing it right back into Roloson, and then into the net. Whoops.
It's not exactly the own-goal the announcers thought it was, but it was still enough to make Bergeron crack the lumber over the goal cage. Credit the tally to Patrick Marleau; but all know who gets the primary assist.
