Around the 1-minute mark of this clip, Detroit Red Wings star Henrik Zetterberg is asked if it's frustrating to get injured this late in the season, as he'll miss both of the team's games against the Chicago Blackhawks this weekend with a "lower body injury." Hank's response? "Absolutely. This is when the fun time starts."
There is nothing fun for Detroit in seeing their MVP this season questionable for the first round, after having an MRI today:
As Zetterberg said, via MLive.com, it sounds like a reoccurring ailment: "I did this before once. It's definitely more pain this time than last time, so that kind of scared me at first. You just have to deal with it and hopefully it'll heal fast.''
In the end, it's a day-to-day injury, a sentiment shared by his coach, Mike Babcock, to the chagrin of Detroit News writer Ted Kulfan:
Babcock said Zetterberg is day to day after that, which in the playoffs, in hockey, could mean any number of things. Zetterberg could be back soon. Or he could be out for a long time.
