Witness Marc-Andre Fleury’s ‘superhuman’ penalty kill in Penguins’ Game 5 win vs. Flyers (VIDEO)

Game 5 between the Pittsburgh Penguins and Philadelphia Flyers didn't resemble the previous four, in that it didn't finish with an NFL score or anyone getting a game misconduct. Most of all, it featured something heretofore unseen in their Eastern Conference Quarterfinal series: Marc-Andre Fleury thriving under pressure.

The best example, and a potential turning point in the series: This 9-save performance during a third-period penalty kill that NBC's Pierre McGuire called "superhuman."

In those two-plus minutes following Tyler Kennedy's slashing penalty on Scott Hartnell, Fleury stopped shots by Kimmo Timonen, Jakub Voracek, Claude Giroux, Brayden Schenn, Jaromir Jagr, two from Danny Briere, Braydon Coburn and Hartnell.

"The PK at the end there was a big kill for us. We've had a little trouble in this series," said Fleury after the 3-2 win, pushing the series to Game 6 on Sunday.

If the Penguins complete their rally from a 3-0 hole, it'll be thanks to performances like that from Fleury. Meanwhile, the Flyers are left with lingering questions about their own goaltending.
