No. 1 Star: Blake Geoffrion, Nashville Predators

Geoffrion recorded his first NHL hat trick during a 4-3 come-from-behind win over the Buffalo Sabres. Down 3-1 late in the third period, Geoffrion reached the feat after scoring twice in a 1:06 span to force overtime. In the extra frame, it was Martin Erat who put home the winner to complete the comeback and give the Predators their fifth win in six games.

No. 2 Star: P.K. Subban, Montreal Canadiens

Another first hat trick for an NHL rookie. Subban notched his in far less dramatic fashion during an 8-1 rout of the Minnesota Wild. The Canadiens stormed out to a 7-0 lead by late in the second period to give the Wild their worst loss in franchise history. Subban became the first rookie defenseman for the Canadiens to ever tally a hat trick.

No. 3 Star: Corey Perry, Anaheim Ducks

Perry helped the Ducks get out to an early 3-0 lead on Calgary and would later end any thoughts of a Flames win by scoring in overtime as Anaheim came out on top 5-4. Three points from Perry and Teemu Selanne, along with a goal and three assists from Ryan Getzlaf helped head coach Randy Carlyle win his 40th game for the fifth time in six seasons. Moments after Henrik Karlsson denied Bobby Ryan on a penalty shot, Perry deflected home a Toni Lydman shot from the point:

Honorable mention: David Desharnais and Benoit Pouliot each had three helpers for Montreal ... Ryan White scored his first NHL goal and recorded his first career Gordie Howe Hat Trick ... Anders Lindback stopped 35 shots in his first start since Feb. 7 ... The Predators are now 7-2-2 in their last 11 and are no tied with the Los Angeles Kings for fifth in the Western Conference ... Ryan Callahan and Brandon Dubinsky each scored and added two assists as the New York Rangers staged a four-goal third period to defeat Pittsburgh 5-2. Henrik Lundqvist made 38 saves as the Rangers won for the fourth game in a row ... Tom Kostopolous recorded his first career three-poing game with two goals and an assist in the loss to Anaheim ... Chris Campoli's first goal as a Blackhawk broke a 1-1 tie to give Chicago a 2-1 victory over Phoenix. Corey Crawford made 22 saves for his 28th win ... Coyotes defenseman Adrian Aucoin played in his 1,000th NHL game ... David Clarkson's two goals powered New Jersey past the Columbus Blue Jackets 3-0. Martin Brodeur needed just 13 saves for his 115th career shutout.

Did you know? Subban's hat trick was the first for a Montreal defenseman since Sheldon Souray did it against Nashville in December 2003. (AP)

Dishonorable mention: After five goals on 19 shots, Jose Theodore was pulled by Wild coach Todd Richards ... While his teammates manages eight goals, Canadiens forward Nigel Dawes was the only one not to record a plus rating ... Columbus is now 2-6-4 in their last 10 and have lost five in a row at Nationwide Arena ... Steve Mason fell to 0-3 lifetime against the Devils ... Matt Cooke should be speaking with Colin Campbell sometime tomorrow for this elbow to the head of Ryan McDonagh ...
