No. 1 Star: Jason Blake, Anaheim Ducks

Blake answered Nathan Oystrick's goal to give St. Louis a 1-0 lead with a goal of his own less than two minutes later and would add the game-winner early in the third period as Anaheim came out victorious 2-1. The win moves the Ducks into an eighth-place tie with Calgary in the Western Conference.

No. 2 Star: Dion Phaneuf, Toronto Maple Leafs

Needing a win to remain in the hunt for one of the last Eastern Conference playoff spots, Phaneuf scored both of Toronto's power play goals to help the Maple Leafs to a 3-1 win over Carolina. Phaneuf and Tyler Bozak scored 12 seconds apart midway through the second period to break a 1-1 tie.

No. 3 Star: Henrik Zetterberg, Detroit Red Wings

With 10:07 left in the third period, Zetterberg scored his second goal of the night to snap a 2-2 tie and give Detroit a 3-2 win and end the Washington Capitals' nine-game win streak.

Honorable mention: Jimmy Howard stopped 26 shots for his third win in a row and 34th of the season ... Brian Rafalski assisted on all three of Detroit's goals ... Ray Emery was victorious in his first start since Feb. 1, 2010, stopping 30 St. Louis shots ... James Reimer made 36 saves as Toronto moved to within four points of Buffalo for eighth in the East ... Vancouver scored four unanswered goals after falling behind 2-0 to Colorado en route to a 4-2 win. Henrik Sedin scored twice and Cory Schneider won for the sixth time in seven starts as the Canucks clinched the Northwest Division. The Sedins hooked up on Henrik's go-ahead goal midway through the third period:

Did you know? "Phaneuf's game winner was the first by a Leaf captain since Mats Sundin in 2007-08." @SunHornby

Dishonorable mention: Washington failed to score on all four of their power play opportunities ... This elbow by referee Francois St. Laurent on Toronto's Joffrey Lupul likely won't warrant a hearing with Colin Campbell:
