Joffrey Lupul knows what's up. Watching this video from the Toronto Maple Leafs' game on Wednesday night against the Winnipeg Jets, you know he's calling "goal cam" on this shot because of how awesome it's going to look if you're rich enough to own a 3D TV (a.k.a. you sit downstairs at Air Canada Centre):
He's obviously not the first player to ding one off the camera — Alex Ovechkin broke one on NBC — but that was a heck of visual.
In the battle of pucks flying at cameras, however, we still have to give the nod to New York Rangers defenseman Michael Del Zotto's lens-shattering moment last season, in which the puck flew up and hit the camera on the glass.
But Lupul's was still exhilarating; via Sara Orlesky of TSN, here's the damage:
Now, when does Lupul get the bill like Del Zotto did ($13,000!)?
