While there's an element of providence in any good fortune, hearing Wayne Gretzky talk about luck as a factor in setting what he believes is his toughest record to break is still a little odd:

This is another cut scene from EA Sports' new "NHL 12", as The Great One will appear when someone on your team reaches a specific achievement in the game. Like, for example, 50 goals in 39 games. Which as Gretzky said does seem a tad difficult.
Also difficult: Finding an ill word to say about Gordie Howe. Gretzky doesn't have one:

If you missed the first video from EA Sports on Wednesday, check out Gretzky on what it takes to be a legend. These are pretty cool cut scenes in the video game. Not as cool as the ones in "Zero Wing"; boy, what we wouldn't give to see Gretz look at the camera and declare "all your base are belong to us."
