• The Dallas Stars still need an owner. Mike Heika reports that local guy Chuck Greenberg has been approved to bid on the team. "Vancouver businessman Tom Gaglardi is in an exclusive negotiating window and hopes to put in a signed purchase agreement soon, the process still will allow for anyone else to bid above Gaglardi's price." • As we've said before, it doesn't matter what Winnipeg does this summer or this season. They could go 0-82, and no one up there is going to leap off the bandwagon. They're a Teflon team. But, that said, here's a good look from Ryan Kennedy on their offseason. [THN]
